Nature’s Bounty launched Modern Wellness, a new line of supplements targeting 30s Millennials. The brand team requested packaging work for a hemp-infused product that displays a modern and premium aesthetic, while staying away from an actual imagery of a hemp plant and the brand’s conventional green/white/gold look. Moreover, they saw the side panels as a billboard opportunity and asked to make full usage of them with no negative space.
The look and feel of HEMP + was inspired by Swiss design, known for its geometrical, sans-serif, and asymmetrical characteristic. We chose a dark gray as a base color to suggest liability and high-quality, and used vibrant colors for modernity and differentiation of each product variation. The result is a design that fulfilled the brand team’s request and would captivate the attention of the target audience.
